Dinner Break

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Level 6 just ended so the players are now on a 75-minute dinner break.

When they come back they'll play two more levels before the conclusion of the day.

Chip Counts Right Before the Break

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Eichhardt Loses one, Wins One

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

After being check-raised on the {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Peter Eichhardt called a bet worth 5,250 by David Cabrera in the big blind on the {A-Clubs} turn before the {4-Spades} on the river brought no betting action, as Eichhardt checked behind. Cabrera showed the {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and the Swede mucked.

One hand later, Eichhardt raised to 1,200 and Dominik Panka on the button three-bet to 3,200. Eichhardt called and the flop came {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Eichhardt checked, Panka bet 4,000 and then folded when the Swede check-raised. The Swede still lost some chips throughout the two hands combined, but remained above average.

Yan Doubles Bartolini

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

[Removed:17] and Marco Bartolini got it all in and both had flush draws on the {5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop. Yan had Bartolini at risk while holding {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} for two overcards and the nut flush draw.

Bartolini got his last 20,000 in the middle with {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and was ahead with his pair of fives. The {3-Clubs} turn and {q-Diamonds} river weren't neither a heart, a king or an ace and Bartolini doubled up.

Herzali Busts Lehmanski

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Sarah Herzali
Sarah Herzali

On the flop of {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Sarah Herzali bet 2,500 and Max Lehmanski raised to 6,500, Herzali called. On the ]6d] turn, the board paired and brought a flush draw. Herzali checked, Lehmanski bet 8,500 and was called. After the {2-Clubs} river, Herzali checked again and Lehmanski shoved for his last 18,500.

Herzali tanked for a few minutes and then called. Lehmanski had the {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a bluff and Herzali claimed the chips with {J-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Nikolov Gaining Chips

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Martin Nikolov
Martin Nikolov

Martin Nikolov sits on one of the biggest stacks of the room. Especially after the last against Daniel Pauly.

It was Mark Wagstaff that opened with a raise to 1,200. Nikolov called and so did Raffaele Sorrentino. From the small blind, Pauly popped it up to 5,600 and Nikolov was the only caller.

The flop came {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} and Pauly slid out a bet of 5,600. Nikolov called and both checked when the {J-Spades} hit the turn.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and both checked again. Pauly showed {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} that missed the board. NIkolov had {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} and raked in another sizeable pot.

An Orbit With William Kassouf

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

Hand 1

After a raise to 1,100 in under the gun by Ivan Banic, William Kassouf called in the hijack and Nabil Cardoso moved all in for 6,550 from one seat over. Banic called and Kassouf folded. Cardoso had the {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and won the flip against Banic's {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} on a board of {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. "Back in the game!" Kassouf said to Cardoso and smiled.

Hand 2

Guillaume Diaz raised and Arnaud Peyroles moved all in, Diaz folded.

Hand 3

Freek Scholten raised to 1,200 and Kassouf called, Diaz called in the big blind. On the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Diaz checked. Scholten bet 1,800 and Kassouf raised to 5,000. Diaz folded and Kassouf started some table talk. "Ace high is not good," he said among other things and he got the fold he wanted.

Hand 4

Diaz raised the small blind, Scholten called in the big blind and Diaz then check-folded the {K-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Hand 5

Kassouf raised to 1,200 from under the gun and Peyroles called. On the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Kassouf bet 2,000 and Peyroles moved all in. Kassouf called.

Peyroles: {J-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Kassouf: {8-Spades}{5-Spades}

"Brick brick please," Kassouf said and the {J-Diamonds} came on the turn. "Always a sweat, eh," the Brit added. The {6-Clubs} river was a blank and Kassouf said a brief "thank you" then raked in the pot.

Hand 6

Osman Aksu raised to 1,500 and Scholten called on the button, Kassouf in the big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Aksu took down the pot with a bet of 6,500.

Hand 7

Banic raised to 1,100, Scholten clicked to 3,600 in the cutoff and Kassouf folded in the small blind. Banic called, and then check-folded the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop to a continuation bet.

Hand 8

Aksu limped, Diaz raised to 1,700 and Kassouf folded, Aksu called. On the {Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop, Aksu bet 2,000 and Diaz called. On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Aksu bet 10,225 and Diaz shoved for 25,575 - Aksu folded. During the hand, Kassouf checked text messages on the phone, likely also looking for upcoming dinner options.

Hand 9

Diaz raised to 1,200 and Scholten called, Kassouf asked "how much" and calledalso. On the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} flop both players checked to Kassouf and he bet 2,150. Only Diaz called and Kassouf started small talk again. "I have the best hand at the moment. I am not on a draw. You got a small pair?" Diaz didn't say a single word.

The {5-Diamonds} turn and {10-Clubs} river were checked. Diaz showed the {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Kassouf mucked.

Result: One double, one big pot where Kassouf wasn't involved and the Brit busted an opponent to build his stack. Oh, and Aksu busted soon after.

Stokkan Eliminated by Messina

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Preben Stokkan was already short and eventually got it all in for his last 7,000 or something. He had {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and was up against Valentin Messina's {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The {Q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop wasn't anything Stokkan was looking for. He needed a seven or running cards to stay in this tournament. The turn was the {6-Hearts} which gave him some straight outs but the {5-Clubs} on the river couldn't save him.

Stokkan hits the rail, Messina's get a nice boost to his stack.

Kitai, Yan and [Removed:552] on Board

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

[Removed:17], who won the €25,750 Super High Roller yesterday, played in today's Single-Day version and busted. The New Zealander then joined the Main Event and immediately doubled up with top pair against a flush draw that faded.

Fellow High Roller Davidi Kitai is seated next to Sylvain Loosli with an equally decent stack whereas Stefan "mindgamer" [Removed:552], who just took down the IPT €2,000 High Roller, joined the field for more poker action.
