Ben Spragg
Ben Spragg

PokerStars' Benjamin Spragg opened to 2,500 from the hijack and was called by Maksim Petrov from the big blind.

Petrov led out for 2,500 on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop and Spragg called.

On the {k-Clubs} turn, Petrov inquired how much his opponent had behind and Spragg fanned his five T-5000 chips. This prompted Petrov to check and Spragg bet 8,000. Petrov wasted little time and moved all in as the bigger stack and folded out the Twitch streamer.

Skorepa and Bellini Chop a Pot

Giovanni Bellini: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Matous Skorepa: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The players held the same hand and ended up splitting the pot as the board ran out {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

No Major Lift for Hedlund

Niveau 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Michael Bernstein opened to 2,400 from early position before Peter Hedlund sent in his 13,000 stack while singing his own rendition of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah from the hijack. Thomas Vieth called from the button which prompted Bernstein to fold.

"You have ace-queen, right?" asked Hedlund and Vieth confirmed his opponent's suspicions and showed his {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Hedlund, who had {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} was ahead and in great shape for a double up.

However, the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} runout confirmed Hedlund's departure as his Vieth paired his queen.

Hedlund released a deep sigh before saying "I've never had a big pair," which prompted the table to laugh. The ousted player hung around the table for a bit before exiting the tournament room.
