Ole Schemion finished second in the chip counts and got most of his stack when he eliminated Teun Mulder when Mulder called the five-bet shove of Schemion with ace-king. Schemion held pocket jacks and those held throughout the board. Jesse Liljgren started third in chips at the start of the day and finished in the same exact spot at the end of Day 3. The top five is completed by two Dutch players, Pascal Vos and Gert Jan Albers.

Other players that might sound familiar are Hassan Sey who already won a bordje during the festival. Christopher Frank, Jonathan Abdellatif, Steve O’Dwyer, Jan Bednar, David Hu, Paul Tedesci, Paul Hoefer, Marcel Vonk, Bart Lybaert, and the shortest stack on Day 2, Sonny Franco.

Alberto Stegeman came into Day 2 ready to defend his title but he ran his last 19 big blinds into the jacks of his opponent while he held tens and got no help from the board. Ryan Riess busted on the feature table with ace-five against the jack-nine of Frederico Silva. Silva turned a pair and made a straight on the river to paint an even prettier picture. Hossein Ensan also busted at some point during the day.

Day 3 restarts at 1:30 p.m. local time on November 30 with Level 16 with a small blind of 2,500, big blind of 5,000, and a big blind ante of 5,000. Ten levels of play have been scheduled with a break after every two levels but everything is subject to change. The bubble will burst pretty soon after the restart and the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to bring you all the action as all the remaining players battle it out for their share of the prize pool.
