On the first hand after the blinds increased, from late position Karim Benamrouche announced he was all-in for his remaining 720,000 stack or nine big blinds. The crowd gathered gasped when the flop came to give Benamrouche a temporary lead in the hand with top pair. His lead looked like it would hold when the appeared on the turn.
