Hasson Falls to Simao

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Joao Simao
Joao Simao

Gary Hasson opened to 4,500 from middle position. Michael Gathy, on the button, called. Joao Simao, in the big blind, three-bet to 19,500. Hasson four-bet shoved for around 55,000. Gathy folded and Simao called.

Gary Hasson: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Joao Simao: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades} and that was it for Hasson, eliminated from the tournament.

A Very Satisfying Turn for Tang

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Danny Tang and Dominik Nitsche played a three-bet pot with Tang three-betting to 19,000 in the small blind and Nitsche calling on the button. Both of them checked the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and {10-Clubs} turn before Tang put out a bet of 28,500 on the {2-Clubs} river. Nitsche called but mucked upon seeing Tang's {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

"Very satisfying turn," Upeshka De Silva grinned. Tang, logically, concurred.

Camosci Busts Ramage

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Enrico Camosci
Enrico Camosci

"He had it this time," Will Failla said while Enrico Camosci dragged in the chips of Grayson Ramage, who's cards were already in the muck. Camosci still had his {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a full house on the board {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{K-Clubs} showing and Failla provided the details as to what happened.

According to Failla, Ramage had raised from under the gun and Camosci called in the small blind. The Italian check-raised the flop from 4,500 to 16,000 and quickly called the shove of Ramage, who showed {A-}{K-Diamonds}. The turn sealed the fate of Ramage and he quickly left the tournament area.

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Maria Lampropoulos
Maria Lampropoulos

Last year's champion Maria Lampropulos will not be adding a second Main Event trophy to her mantlepiece as she's just been eliminated from the tournament.

The live stream crew caught her walking away from the table and she had jammed her short stack in from the big blind with the {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} only to get called by button raiser Gianluca Speranza with pocket jacks. No help followed on flop, turn or river and her title defense came to an end.

McKeehen Busts With Kings

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Joe McKeehen
Joe McKeehen

In what was presumably a three-bet pot between Joe McKeehen and Michael Azzaro, it was McKeehen who continued with a bet of 24,000 from the blinds on a {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop. Azzaro smooth-called the bet in position.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and McKeehen shoved for around 70,000. Azzaro called lightning-fast to put the 2015 WSOP Main Event champ at risk.

Joe McKeehen: {K-}{K-}
Michael Azzaro: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

McKeehen was in dire straights and needed one of the remaining kings to survive. The river instead brought the {5-Hearts}; McKeehen quickly mucked his cards and splashed his stack towards Azzaro before switfly exiting the area.
