Yan Li
Yan Li

Yan Li limped the button with a stack of around 240,000 and Eder Campana checked his option in the big blind. Campana check-raised the {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop and Li called before the stack of Li went in after the {4-Diamonds} turn.

Yan Li: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Eder Campana: {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Li still had quite a few outs to avoid elimination, but the {7-Clubs} river was not among them.

Strelitz Straightens Out Furbert

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Chris Furbert in the small blind check-shoved over a bet of 23,000-bet by Daniel Strelitz and was at risk for 163,000. Strelitz eventually called and they turned over the cards.

Chris Furbert: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Daniel Strelitz: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The {J-Clubs} rolled off on the river to give Strelitz a winning straight and Furbert sat there emotionless. After a few seconds he seemed to realize what had happened and stood up from his chair with a few curse words that followed.

Kaverman Gets a Fold From Rheem

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Chino Rheem opened to 13,000 from middle position. Mike Leah, in the hijack, called, along with Byron Kaverman in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Kaverman checked. Rheem bet 23,000. Leah folded. Kaverman check-called.

The turn brought the {j-Spades}. This time, Kaverman led for 50,000. Rheem called.

The {a-Diamonds} river completed the board and Kaverman threw in a bet of 115,000. Rheem went deep into the tank, but proceeded to fold after using three of his time bank cards.

''You bluffed me?'' kept asking Rheem. Kaverman didn't react.

''I think he doesn't want to tell,'' commented a player at the table.

Bad Beat Sends Quinn Packing

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Patrick Quinn
Patrick Quinn

Yesterday, Patrick Quinn's non-stop banter at the table caused a bit of consternation, but today, the Canadian has been much more subdued. After a raise from Tommy Nguyen, he shoved his final 59,000 on the button in quiet fashion and Nguyen called it off.

Patrick Quinn: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Tommy Nguyen: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The board remained safe for Quinn until the river: {5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. "Good luck, guys," he calmly said before heading out of the area.

In a three-bet pot to the {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Erwann Pecheux in the hijack check-called a bet of 50,000 by Pasquale Sarracco in the cutoff and the {K-Spades} fell on the turn. Sarracco only had 106,000 behind and got this in, Pecheux looked him up.

Pasquale Sarracco: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Erwann Pecheux: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The {7-Diamonds} on the river was a blank and Pecheux took a big hit to his stack.
