Ogus Shows

Niveau 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Aaron Ogus put in what looked to be 34,000 or so on a flop of {3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs} from under the gun, and Justin Ligeri called from the small blind. On the {j-Spades} turn, Ligeri checked and Ogus said he was all in. Ligeri got a count of 74,500, cursed, and folded. One {9-} flashed up and he said he had nines.

Ogus showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for trips.

Bonomo Blasts Against Lamb

Niveau 5 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ben Lamb bet 7,500 on {3-Hearts}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts} from under the gun and Justin Bonomo raised to 20,000. Lamb called and they both checked the {a-Clubs}, bringing the {7-Hearts}. Lamb checked. Bonomo slid in what looked like 112,000, a sizable overbet.

"Figured that might happen," Lamb said with a smile.

After another moment, he conceded.

Eibinger Eliminated by Rast

Niveau 4 : 1,000/1,500, 2,000 ante
Matthias Eibinger (from Event #1)
Matthias Eibinger (from Event #1)

With roughly 39,000 in the middle and the board reading {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Matthias Eibinger checked from the big blind as Brian Rast checked behind in the cutoff.

The river landed the {5-Spades} and Eibinger bet out 39,500 only to have Rast announce he was all in for roughly 185,000.

"Ace-five suited really?" posed Eibinger as he considered calling for his tournament life.

Eibinger was forced to use two of his time extension chips before committing his remaining 111,500.

Rast tabled his {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for runner-runner trips while Eibinger showed his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} in disgust, and then folded.

Rast vs. Adams

Niveau 4 : 1,000/1,500, 2,000 ante

Brandon Adams opened the hijack to 4,500 and Brian Rast called in the cutoff.

The flop landed {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and both players checked to reveal the {2-Diamonds} on the turn. Adams checked, Rast bet 5,000, and Adams called.

The river fell the {6-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Adams tabled his {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, but it would be Rast's {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} that would see him collect the pot.

A Question to Ponder

Niveau 4 : 1,000/1,500, 2,000 ante

Action is a bit slow on Table 3 at the moment, but the conversation is pretty lively. A prop is being discussed the likes of which we've never heard, but that's apparently been put in action a few times recently in cash games.

We didn't catch the entire discussion, but from the sound of things, the question is thus: what's the smallest denomination of chips you would put into your mouth if you got to keep all of the chips at the end of 30 seconds?

Daniel Negreanu doesn't have to worry much about his bankroll considering he's one of the top all-time money earners in poker, so it's no surprise he said his cutoff would be $5,000 or $1,000. Apparently, some have done it quite a bit cheaper, though. Jared Jaffee said he's seen it done with $10 chips, and the word is some individuals have managed to cram upwards of 30.
