Lamb Rising High

Niveau 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

From under the gun, Elio Fox raised to 2,500 and Maurice Hawkins called in the small blind.

From the big blind, Ben Lamb three-bet to 16,000, and Fox folded.

As Hawkins deliberated, Lamb asked, "You thinking about folding or jamming?"

"Jamming," responded Hawkins.

"Figured," added Lamb.

Hawkins eventually opted to muck, and Lamb collected the pot to increase his current Event #2 chip lead.

Yu Shoves on Eibinger

Niveau 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

In a pot that looked to have seen multiple raises preflop, Ben Yu checked in the big blind and called 16,500 from Matthias Eibinger, who had the button, on the {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts} flop. The turn brought the {9-Clubs} and Yu checked. Eibinger bet 32,000 at the buzzer and Yu responded with an all-in shove for about 110,000. Eibinger folded immediately.

Niveau 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

From under the gun, Scott Seiver raised to 2,500 and Justin Ligeri called on the button.

Nitsche Wins with Ace-High

Niveau 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Scott Seiver limped the small blind and Dominik Nitsche checked his option in the big.

The flop landed {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Seiver bet out 1,000 only to have Nitsche raise to 3,000. Seiver called, and then both players checked down the {8-Diamonds} and {4-Hearts} on the turn and river.

Seiver tabled his {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, but it would be Nitsche's {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} that would earn him the pot.

Kurganov Busted First Again

Niveau 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

Igor Kurganov was the first player to go bust in Event #1, and he followed suit in Event #2.

This time, he bet 11,500 into 17,500 on the river from the big blind. The board read {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Brian Rast moved all in, covering Kurganov's 65,000 or so. Kurganov used a time extension then dropped in calling chips.

Rast showed {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for the flopped flush and Kurganov flung his cards into the muck.

"Ace-ten," he said. "Guess I can catch a flight now."
