"€500 is a Fair Price"

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Jasper Meijer van Putten / Jake Cody
Jasper Meijer van Putten / Jake Cody

Noticing PokerStars Team Pro Jake Cody is down to just one time extension — and perhaps trying to lighten things up on the bubble — Jasper Meijer van Putten has begun bantering with Cody to try to negotiate a selling price for one of his own extensions since he has three.

"Five hundred?" the Dutchman asked. "Five hundred is a fair price. I think it's a bargain. When you make the final table..."

Kaiser Eliminates Mizrachi

Niveau 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Ronny Kaiser opened under the gun and then tanked a bit before calling the shove of Robert Mizrachi, who had 209,000 on the button. They flipped over {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and {a-}{k-} respectively before the dealer quickly turned them back over. The players milled about waiting for hands on other tables to complete. Kaiser appeared confident he would find a queen, given how hot he's been running.

When it was finally time, Kaiser was proven right as a queen hit the flop. A jack turn gave Mizrachi some extra outs but he couldn't improve on the river.

Jorma Nuutinen Eliminated

Niveau 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

During the double hand-over-hand phase, Jorma Nuutinen was the first to bust out. Nuutinen was all in for his last 25,000 and got called in two places. On the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Ben Tollerene bet Raul Martinez out of the hand.

Jorma Nuutinen: {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Ben Tollerene: {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Nuutinen was drawing dead after a blank turn, bringing the field down to 82.

Before the hand-over-hand, Kitty Kuo, [Removed:563], and Isaac Haxton also busted.

Kaiser Delivers Brutal Beat; Soars Over Million

Niveau 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Five places before the money, table chipleader Ronny Kaiser opened to 15,000 in middle position and Jakub Michalak called from the hijack.

Ryan Yu three-bet to 58,000 on the button and Kaiser paused. He used a time-bank chip, then shrugged and moved all in, covering both players. Michalak quickly folded but Yu called all in for 420,000 to create the largest pot of the tournament so far.

Ronny Kaiser: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Ryan Yu: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

Yu was in excellent shape to catapult to the chip lead, while Kaiser needed an eight to win. The Swiss picked up more outs after the {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. The {K-Diamonds} on the turn was safe for Yu, keeping his jacks in the lead.

The {5-Spades} on the river, however, sunk Yu's hopes just shy of the money. Kaiser scooped up the gigantic pot and now has over a million in chips, Yu was left with nothing.
