Badziakouski Calls The Clock On Himself

Niveau 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

On a {J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Mikita Badziakouski checked the big blind to Erik Friberg on the button, who bet 7,000. Badziakouski check-raised to 24,000 and received a call.

On the {5-Spades} turn, the Belarusian high staker slowed down and checked. Friberg bet 24,000 and Badziakouski check-called.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and after a minute, Friberg went all in for 75,300.

"Sorry, I haven't checked?" said Badziakouski. The dealer was staring at Friberg, assuming Badziakouski had checked, to which the Swede reacted.

The floor got called over and it was ruled the bet would stand if Badziakouski wouldn't change the action. However, if Badziakouski would bet any amount, the bet would be taken back.

The Belarusian spent minutes agonizing over the situation in front of him.

"You can call one minute on me," Badziakouski told the floor who was still standing by. After a minute had gone by, Badziakouski still wasn't able to come up with a decision and his hand was declared dead.

"If that was a bluff it was the best bluff of all time," quipped tablemate Ryan Riess after the hand.
