Seven More Hands

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

As the clock ticked down to the final 15-minute mark, cards were drawn to determine that there will be seven more hands played tonight for each table before the surviving players bag their chips for tomorrow's Day 3. The clock has now been paused for the night.

Loeser Loses

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Action folded all the way around to the blinds. The player in the small blind pushed all in for 28,300 and Manig Loeser looked down at his cards in the big blind. He sighed and called.

Loeser: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a board of {9-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Loeser paid the double-up, leaving himself short.

Lim Rockets Up the Leaderboard

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

With about 30,000 in the middle on a {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades} board, Yowan Lim made a bet of 13,500 from the big blind. The player in the under-the-gun position made the call and the {7-Spades} appeared on the turn.

Lim announced "all-in" and his opponent went into the tank. For a while. Lim's all-in was for 55,600, the majority of his opponent's stack. Several minutes went by before a tablemate asked for a clock.

The floor was called and Lim's opponent was given 60 seconds. With three seconds to go, he made the call.

Lim: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Lim faded the river {j-Hearts} and received a massive boost to his stack.

Cheng Gets It In x2

Niveau 12 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Leo Cheng shipped in his last 16,100 chips and was called by one opponent. Cheng flipped over {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and was in trouble against {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}. By the time the flop came {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, he was already out of his chair. When the turn came {a-Diamonds}, he had his backpack on and was turning away. But the river of {8-Spades} had players calling to him to sit back down as he collected a double-up.

In the very next hand, Cheng pushed all in again. It was for 35,600 and action folded around to the player in the big blind who went in the tank. After getting an accurate count and taking some time to think, he finally folded and showed {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Everyone at the table wondered what he was thinking about.
