Timofeev Ends the Day in Style

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Denis Timofeev opened for 27,000 under the gun and got three callers. He followed the big blind in checking the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and Kenny Smaron bet 58,000. Only Timofeev called. The {7-Clubs} turn got checked through, as did the {4-Hearts}. Smaron showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for second pair, but Timofeev had turned a straight flush with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, leaving Smaron thankful he didn't fall into a trap.

Players are now bagging up for the day.

JC Alvarado Eliminated in 13th Place ($20,860)

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
JC Alvarado
JC Alvarado

In the last hand of Day 4 at the featured table, JC Alvarado raised to 28,000 from early position and Robin Luca Wozniczek called from the button. Both blinds folded and the flop came down {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

Alvarado checked, Wozniczek bet 31,000, and Alvarado woke up with a check-raise to 90,000. Wozniczek responded by moving all in and Alvarado quickly called off for 359,000 total.

Wozniczek: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Alvarado: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

It was a virtual coin flip as Wozniczek held an over pair to Alvarado's flush and ace-over draw.

The {2-Clubs} turn tipped the scales in favor of Wozniczek, and he score the elimination after the {4-Clubs} bricked on the river.

Mark Radoja Eliminated in 14th Place ($20,860)

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Mark Radoja
Mark Radoja

Igor Yaroshevskyy raised to 25,000 first to act, and action folded to Mark Radoja. He repopped to 67,000 on the button. Small blind Kenny Smaron took some thinking time and then announced he was all in. He covered both Radoja and Yaroshevskyy. The latter folded, but Radoja announced a call right away for about 400,000 total.

Radoja: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Smaron: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Smaron's kings held up as the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Vasyl Vertianov Eliminated in 15th Place ($20,860)

Vasyl Vertianov

Kenny Smaron opened for a raise to 27,000, and Vasyl Vertianov shoved all in from the cutoff. It looked to be around 300,000, but Smaron called without asking for a count.

Vertianov: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Smaron: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Smaron didn't need to sweat, as an {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop gave him a hammerlock. The {9-Hearts} turn meant a {5-Diamonds} river was a mere formality, eliminating the Spin & Go qualifier.

JC Alvarado Slips Under 300K

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

James Salmon raised to 26,000 from early position and JC Alvarado defended his big blind to see a {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop, which both players checked.

Alvarado then led out for 70,000 on the {5-Spades} turn and Salmon snap-called. Both players returned to checking on the {3-Diamonds} river and Alvarado showed the {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, which was no good against Salmon's {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The latter was in the small blind and held a dominating {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} against Viard's {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The board ran out {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, leaving Viard dead by the turn.

Smaron Ends Lengthy Hand With Shove

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Kenny Smaron opened for 27,000 in middle position and got two callers. He bet 45,000 on the {q-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, and Harpreet Gill called from the cutoff. The big blind mucked. Gill called another barrel worth 88,000 on the {5-Spades} turn after some thought, and a {4-Clubs} arrived. This caused Smaron to shove all in after thinking a couple of minutes, and Gill instantly mucked.
