USPO #04 – $25,000 Mixed Game Championship

Jour 1 a débuté

The $25,000 Mixed Game Championship is Here! Action Underway at 2 PM

Possibly the most anticipated event of the 2018 US Poker Open kicks off this afternoon at the Aria Resort & Casino in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. USPO #04 - $25,000 Mixed Game Championship is set to get underway at 2 PM local time much to the delight of poker fans worldwide.

Rarely have fans of poker variants other than No-Limit Hold'em had the chance to watch the high stakes action that will be featured in this mixed game event. The $25,000 championship will feature eight different poker disciplines including 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw, Limit Hold'em, No-Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Pot-Limit Omaha, Razz, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better.

This will also be one of the first times that such action will be streamed as the final six will return on Tuesday for the final table with live cards-up action on PokerGo.

A star-studded field is expected this afternoon as mixed-game beasts like Nick Schulman, Brian Rast, Phil Hellmuth, Erik Seidel, and Mike Gorodinsky, who sits in second place on the USPO leaderboard and won the USPO #02 - $10,000 PLO title, may come title hunting. Depending on how long the USPO #03 - $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em final table takes, Daniel Negreanu is another possible runner.

Blind levels on Day 1 will be 45-minutes in length and players will kick off the action with a 150,000 chip starting stack. Players are permitted one re-entry during the first eight levels on day 1, registration closing following the break before Level 9.

This is the inaugural running of the US Poker Open which features eight events over ten days. Poker Central has continued to provide subscribers of their PokerGo streaming service with nosebleed action and viewers have been rewarded with not only some PLO action but also this $25,000 Mixed Game Championship.

The player who earns the most amount of money throughout the entire series will be crowned US Poker Open champion and take home the coveted trophy.
