James O'Brien was all in for 1,300,000 on the feature table with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Antoine Fontaine held {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and looked to send another player to the rail.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades} and O'Brien was eliminated.

Meanwhile, Eric Gahon got his last chips in with {k-}{10-} and was called by the {a-}{6-} of Karol Wojciechowski. There was no help for the Day 1c chip leader on the {9-}{9-}{5-}{7-}{j-} run out and he joined O'Brien on the rail.

Gregory Mallet
Gregory Mallet

On the very first hand of the day, short-stacked Gregory Mallet picked up {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and was all in for his last five big blinds against Adrien Delmas with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

The flop {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and turn {4-Clubs} meant that Mallet was close to clinching an early double but the {10-Hearts} river gave Delmas a set and Mallet was eliminated.
