Coming into today the 2018 Winamax Poker Open Main Event needed 643 players to break last year's record of 1,069.
According to the tournament screens, today there have been a grand total of 767 entrants. Officials have said that some of these may be online qualifiers that have not played, but they expect them to number 40-50.
Nevertheless, the tournament looks to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest 6-Max tournament held outside of the World Series of Poker.
