Welcome to Day 3 of Event #9: $100,000 Ultra High Roller at the 2023 World Series of Poker Paradise. The third and final day commences at 2 p.m. local time at Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas.
The biggest buy-in event of the series offered a $5 million guarantee and that number was smashed by more than double, as a total of 111 entrants created a prize pool of $11,100,000. The top 17 finishers earned a piece of it and now all eyes are on the bracelet and top prize of $2,940,000.
Only ten players will return for the third and final day and Japan's Masashi Oya sits atop the leaderboard with 18,150,000 in chips. GGPoker ambassador Jason Koon comes back second in chips, while four-time bracelet winner Nick Schulman rounds out the top three stacks.
The other players returning to the felt are Quan Zhou, Leon Sturm, Lucas Greenwood, Ben Heath, Danny Tang, Ivan Luca, and Leonard Maue.

Leonard Maue: K♣J♣
Jason Koon: A♣5♠
The board ran out 9♣7♠8♠3♦9♥, offering Maue no improvement as he finished in tenth place for $216,000.

Ivan Luca: Q♥Q♣
Lucas Greenwood: A♦K♥
Quan Zhou: A♥A♣
A double knockout seemed likely but the Q♦5♠2♥ flop vaulted Luca in front. The J♠ turn gave Greenwood a sweat, but the 5♦ river bricked out and Luca tripled, while Greenwood was eliminated in ninth place for $268,000.

Action folded around to Ivan Luca in the small blind who jammed into Danny Tang's big blind. Tang, sitting on a short stack, peeled his cards and thought very briefly before putting in the call to set up a runout with himself at risk.
Danny Tang: A♠6♥
Ivan Luca: K♣10♦
Tang was ahead going to the flop but when it came down the 6♦5♥K♠, the fates were flipped and Tang was looking for help to survive.
Unfortunately for Tang, the board would complete with the 2♣ turn and 9♠ river to send him to the rail in eighth place for $336,000.

Jason Koon raised to 500,000 from under the gun and Ben Heath defended the big blind.
The dealer spread the A♣J♣3♥ flop and Heath checked. Koon bet 250,000 and Heath called.
The Q♠ landed on the turn and Heath checked again. Koon bet 300,000 and Heath called.
The A♠ fell on the river and Heath checked once more. Koon put forward three T-500,000 chips to cover his opponent, and Heath called all in for his 1,225,000.
Koon revealed K♥8♥, while Heath tabled his A♥5♠ to secure the double with his trip aces.
