Adrian Moreno Wins Event 74!

Welcome to one of the most popular World Series of Poker in the past years. Event #74: The Little One for One Drop - $1,000 +111 No-Limit Hold'em Day 1A kicks off today at 11 a.m. local time. Players can choose to give a $111 donation to One Drop and receive an extra 5,000 chips on top of their 5,000 chip starting stack. To find all the information you need on the One Drop foundation and how to get involved, click here

The reigning champion of this tournament is Adrian Moreno, who bested a total field of 4,391players last year and came from behind to defeat Martin Lesjoe heads-up to claim his first gold bracelet along with the $528,316 first prize. It was the fitch cash in a WSOP event for Moreno as well as his first final table.

Day 1 will feature 10 60-minute levels of play and players will have a 20-minute break every two levels. Late registration will be available until the end of Level 8, roughly 9:15 p.m., and players can re-enter as many times as they would like up until the end of late registration. There will be a 75-minute break after the sixth level (≈ 5:40 p.m.).

Numbers have been on the rise this year on the Main Event and this event, in part for a great cause, looks to keep that trend going. The Day 1A attracted 687 entries last year and the number of entries will continue to grow on the two others starting days and as the Main Event loses players.
