A player under the gun opened to 2,000, Nicholas Aranda flatted from late position, and Matthew Wilkins called from the small blind. The flop came down {6-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.

Action checked to the initial raiser who led out for 3,000, Aranda called, and Wilkins check-raised to 10,500. The initial raiser folded, Aranda called, and the turn fell the {a-Hearts}.

Wilkins moved all in for around 25,000 and Arana thought for a few moments but then slammed the chips in the middle to signify the call. The players turned over their hands.

Wilkins tabled {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a flush and straight draw, Aranda turned over {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for a pair of kings. The river came the {8-Spades} and Aranda's kings held on to take down the pot, eliminating Wilkins.

On a raised pot with already around 9,000 in the middle, the board read {8-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and the players were heads-up. The first player checked and Calvin Anderson fired 8,500. His opponent considered it for a minute and made the call.

The river completed the board with the {3-Clubs} and after his opponent checked once more, Anderson pushed all in for a stack of 29,100, putting his opponent into a difficult decision. After some time, he ended up calling with {k-Spades}{6-Spades} but mucked his hand when Anderson turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for the nut straight.

The recent winner of Event #56: $10,000 Razz Championship climbed to a stack of 88,000.
