Time Runs Out on Jukich

Niveau 29 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante
Mike Jukich
Mike Jukich

Mike Jukich raised to 250,000 in early position, Rifat Palevic called one seat over, and Kao Saechao called from the big blind. All players checked the {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop.

On the {Q-Diamonds} turn, Saechao checked and Jukich bet 575,000. Palevic thought around a minute before shoving 2,965,000 total. Saechao, visibly unpleased, clicked his chips in his hand and pumped his fist before folding.

Jukich was as unpleased as Saechao and agonised over his decision as the minutes passed by. After a minute or four had passed, Palevic tapped an imaginary watch on his forearm to call the clock. The floor came over to give Jukich 30 seconds to make up his mind.

Thirty seconds passed and Jukich still wasn't able to make up his mind, rendering his hand dead on the spot.

"No more show," Palevic said as he raked in the pot.

"It's good for the game," Saechao quipped. "I've been showing all day!" Palevic didn't bulge and mucked his hand face-down.
