Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante
Final Table ESPN Set
Final Table ESPN Set

The players have returned from the break and Daniel Negreanu and Davidi Kitai have wasted no time in getting involved in the action on the ESPN Feature Table.

Negreanu raised to 800 from middle position and Kitai three-bet to 2,700 from the small blind. Negreanu made the call, and they went heads-up to the {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop. Kitai continued for 2,200 and Negreanu called.

The turn brought the {4-Clubs}, and Negreanu called a 4,800 bet from Kitai.

Both players decided to check to a showdown on the {2-Spades} river, and Negreanu took the pot after he tabled {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for two pair queen-kicker.

Liebert Loses Some

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

It looked like there were 4,275 chips in the pot and the board read {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} when we got to the table. Kathy Liebert bet 2,000 from the cutoff into her lone opponent on the button. He called.

The {6-Diamonds} hit the river and both players checked. The button flipped over {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, Liebert mucked, and the button took the pot.

While the tournament is on break, give the story of Jessica Dawley a read.

Dawley won the Ladies Championship earlier this week, taking home her first bracelet and $130,230. But before her life as a fulltime poker pro, Dawley served in the Air Force from 2001 to 2007 and was stationed in the United Arab Emirates.

With a top secret clearance, some things she still can’t talk about, but her time in the military put things into perspective. "There are way worse things going on in the world than poker and bad beats. It could be so much worse."

Robinson's Raise Takes it Down

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

In one of the last hands before the break, four players saw an {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop together. Akin Tuna was first to act from the big blind and bet 2,400. Daria Feshchenko raised to 6,000 from under the gun and Hiroyuki Noda cold-called in middle position.

Devin Robinson was next to act on the button and he flung four T-5,000 chips forward. Tuna spread his hands, sighed deeply, then folded. Feshchenko gave it some thought before folding as well, and Noda flung his hand rapidly in the muck.

"Is that a bluff, sir?" Armand King asked and Robinson laughed it away.

Alessio Isaia opened the action with a raise and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 3,000 on the button. Isaia made the call, and the flop came down {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Negreanu bet 1,600 after he was checked to and Isaia called.

Both players checked on the {q-Spades} turn, and when the river came the {a-Spades}, Isaia check-folded to a 4,000 bet from Negreanu.

Luca Sits Pretty Before Dinner

Niveau 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Ivan Luca
Ivan Luca

Ivan Luca is sitting on a pretty stack right before they enter the dinner break. In one of the last hands before the break, he won another pot without showdown.

Two players limped from middle position and Ivan Luca called from the small blind. The player in the big blind checked and they saw the {2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop appear. Everyone checked and the {9-Hearts} was added to the board.

Luca bet 1,100 and only one player called him. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and after Luca put in another 900 the other player folded and Luca started stacking.
