One of the early bigger stacks in the room belongs to Patrick Truong, who bet 1,000 on a 
flop on the button. Jeremy Menard check-raised to 2,600 in the big blind and Truong called.
Menard bet 2,500 on the 
turn and Truong folded.
Fatima Moreira de Melo raised to 700 from the under the gun position and the player on her left called. It folded to Grayson Ramage and he put in 3 yellow chips, totaling 3,000.
Action folded back to Moreira de Melo and she folded, just like her left-hand neighbor.
Rodney Hobbs and his opponent were heads-up on the 
board. Hobbs bet 2,100 into a main pot of about 5,000 and his opponent called.
The river was the 
and Hobbs tossed out a bet of 6,000. His opponent folded just as the chips hit the felt and Hobbs joked "I'll bet 3,000 then."
"I never show but just this one time I will" Hobbs said flashing his 
as he raked in the pot. Hobbs continues to climb the chip counts and he is now sitting behind one of the largest stacks in the Brasilia room.
Chris Moorman opened to 700 in early position and a player in the middle re-raised to 2,300. Action folded to Moorman who peeled the flop and check-called another 2,300 on the 
flop.
The 
turn was checked and Moorman fired 2,700 when the 
river landed. His opponent, however, pumped the price to 7,500 and Moorman thought for a bit before he folded.
The board showed 
, Eric Baldwin checked from the small blind position to Richard Hanheide in the hijack who bet 6,000 into a pot around 11,500.
Baldwin made the call and the river came the 
. Both players checked, Baldwin turned over 
for a missed flush draw and Hanheide table 
for a pair of aces, taking down the pot.
Mike Cordell was in the small blind and check-called 2,800 against a player in the hijack on 
. On the river, Cordell came out betting with 4,200 and his opponent flicked in a single chip to call.
