Schindler Takes From Lebaron

Niveau 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The board read {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and there was around 33,000 in the middle already. Jake Schindler had bet 24,000 from the small blind and Kaylen Lebaron raised to 80,000. Schindler looked at Lebaron and called.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board on the river and they both checked. Schindler tabled {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and that was enough to make Lebaron muck his hand.

Play Has Resumed

Niveau 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

All remaining hopefuls are now in the Amazon room and the action has recommenced with 1,204 players still in contention. Only the top 1,182 will receive a portion of the prize pool and Day 3 will conclude at the end of the current level, or if the bubble hasn't burst by then, once the min-cash of $15,000 is locked up.

Among the new faces in the Amazon Tan section is [Removed:532] with an above-average stack.

Unscheduled Break

Niveau 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

With around 56 minutes left on the clock, the dealers were instructed to finish the current hand and hold up. The next announcement by the floor staff was an unscheduled break to verify the number of remaining players and prepare for the upcoming bubble period. Cards will be back in the air at 10:47 p.m. local time, after a break of 15 minutes.

As it stands, there are currently 1,204 players remaining halfway through the level.

Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

The action folded to Phil Ivey in the cutoff, and he raised to 11,000. Shawn Daniels defended the big blind, and the flop landed {10-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Daniels checked, and Ivey bet 10,000. Daniels called, and the turn fell the {2-Diamonds} and Daniels checked again.

Ivey quickly bet out 30,000, and Daniels called once more as the river fell the {J-Spades}.

Daniels checked, Ivey lined up a bet of 70,000 and slid it into the pot.

Daniels mulled over his decision for close to a minute and then called.

Ivey revealed his {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trips, and Daniels shook his head and mucked.

The Flop Slows Down Graham

Niveau 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Frank Flowers opened large to 35,000 from under the gun and Andrew Graham three-bet to 100,000 from the cutoff. The big blind thought for a minute but elected to fold and Flowers made up for lost time by making a quick call.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and both players checked through to the {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Hearts} on the river. Two more checks and Flowers turned over {8-Spades}{6-Spades} while Graham held {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Jason Sell moved all in under the gun for 49,000. Frankie Flowers on the cutoff reshoved for 1,200,000. The big blind called, putting at risk his stack of 600,000.

Jason Sell: {7-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Frankie Flowers: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

The board ran {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Sell made quads to triple up, with Flowers raking in a huge side pot to take the overall chip lead, eliminating the player in the big blind.
