Henry Runs Out of Chips

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Joshua Jackson sent some chips over to Chris Da Silva before taking a lot of chips off Nathan Henry when his pair of queens secured a big pot against ace-jack on a jack-high board.

Right after, Henry raised and four-bet all in for what appeared to be 90,000 and Jackson quickly called out of the blinds.

Nathan Henry: {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Joshua Jackson: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The kicker played a vital role on a board of {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to send Henry to the rail a few minutes before the end of the level.

Kniep Flops a Straight Flush

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Andreas "Rayo" Kniep and his opponent were heads-up on the river on the {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} board. The player check-called a bet from Kniep who turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped straight flush.

Kniep dragged in the more than 100,000 chip pot but he wasn't done just yet. "I've never flopped a straight flush before, I need to take a photo."

Kniep snapped a shot of the flop and stacked his newly acquired chips.

Alaei Doubles Through Gronning

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Daniel Alaei
Daniel Alaei

Rizziero Osso made it 9,000 to go and Daniel Alaei three-bet to 28,000. Lars Gronning called in the big blind and Osso folded. On the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Gronning check-raised from 37,000 to 150,000 and Alaei moved all in for 263,000. A quick call by Gronning followed, who had Alaei covered by not even two big blinds.

Daniel Alaei: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Lars Gronning: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The {Q-Hearts} turn and the {A-Clubs} river changed nothing whatsoever and Alaei scored a big double. Gronning busted shortly after.

Albertson Climbing Back Up

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Cory Albertson raised to 9,000 in middle position and found a caller next to act, along with a player on the button.

The flop landed {K-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and action checked to the button who bet 20,000. Albertson called, and the player in the middle folded as the turn fell the {4-Diamonds}.

Albertson checked, his opponent bet 30,000, and Albertson called.

Both players then checked the {7-Hearts} on the river.

"I got you!" announced Albertson before tabling his {K-Spades}{J-Spades}.

His opponent revealed her {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and then mucked to see Albertson scoop the pot.

Round Three Between Song and Rheem

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Chino Rheem and Stephen Song have been battling at the same table all day and have played some large pots together. Another one was on tap when both players saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} for 80,000 each preflop.

Rheem was the first to act in early position and led out for 100,000. Song called and the {6-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Rheem quickly jammed all in for 340,500 and Song went into the tank. He asked for a count and then thought it over for a couple of minutes. Eventually, he elected to lay his hand down and Rheem stacked the pot.

Zhuta Wins a Monster Pot

Niveau 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We arrived at the table just as Lumni Zhuta was dragging in a monster pot and he filled us in on the action. Zhuta was heads-up on the river and there was about 160,000 in the main pot on the {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board.

Zhuta checked and his opponent moved all in for more than double the pot. Zhuta called for 296,000, turning over {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for sixes full of sevens, and his opponent showed {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for just ace high.

The massive pot was shipped Zhuta's way and he now finds himself near the top of the Day 3 chips as players approach the dinner break.

Albertson tabled his {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to play the board, while the cutoff revealed his {K-Spades}{10-Spades} to capture the pot.
