Shack-Harris Bows Out

Niveau 9 : 300/600, 900 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris was in the big blind, joining a single-raised pot contested by a player in the second position and Galen Hall on the button. Shack-Harris, who had only 500 left behind, peeled one and so did the opener. Hall opted to change two.

The betting lead stayed with the predraw opener who fired 3,100, forcing a fold from Hall. Shack-Harris smiled and asked his opponent to show him his hand. Then he threw in his final chip only to see that the final dagger came from nothing less than {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

Chen Dispatches Sharpe

Niveau 9 : 300/600, 900 ante

James Chen was in the hijack, three-betting to 6,000 against a 1,500-raise from early position. In the cutoff, Scott Sharpe cold four-bet shoved for 15,200 and the action returned to Chen who matched the price. Chen patted and Sharpe slid one card towards the dealer.

Chen: {10-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}
Sharpe: {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Sharpe had a wheel draw but he peeled a {q-} instead. He sighed and then left his seat while Chen stacked his new chips.
