Puchkov Eliminates One

Niveau 7 : 200/400, 600 ante

Konstantin Puchkov made it 1,100 under the gun, and the action folded to the player in the small blind who moved all in for 3,300. Puchkov called and the small blind stood pat with {10-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}. Puchkov discarded one and he hit what he needed, claiming the pot with {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

Riess Hits Eight-Ball

Niveau 7 : 200/400, 600 ante

Ryan Riess raised in the first position and he called after the player in the small blind shoved for 3,500 or so. Both players drew one card and they turned their beholdings face up:

Riess: {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}
Opponent: {8-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Riess was trailing but he peeled a very promising {8-}. That proved to be enough to take it down as the other player turned up a {k-}.

Shack-Harris Doubles Before Break

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 450 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris opened in the hijack and then called a three-bet to 3,000 from a player on the button.

Shack-Harris changed one and so did his opponent. Shack-Harris grabbed all of his remaining chips and moved all in for 6,900. His opponent looked him up and Shack-Harris promptly tabled {10-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. The other player nodded and exposed {j-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{2-} to comply with the all-in rule.

Hall Hopes to Hear Zero

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 450 ante
Galen Hall (as seen in a previous event)
Galen Hall (as seen in a previous event)

With around 15,000 in the middle, Galen Hall was all in for 13,700 in a clash against Owais Ahmed who had around 10,000 behind. A clock had been called on Ahmed and it came down to the verbal countdown. The floorperson got all the way to the zero and Ahmed's hand was declared dead.

Hall slowly turned up his hand, card by card, first revealing {2-}{3-}{4-}{6-} to finally show another {3-}.

The table broke straight after the hand, and while the players were racking up their chips, Hall admitted that he was sweating the countdown, thinking: "Say zero! Say zero!"

Deeb Makes a Good Break

Niveau 6 : 150/300, 450 ante

Shaun Deeb was all in for 5,175, facing off against one opponent. Deeb contemplated whether to discard one or pat, and he eventually opted for the former, changing what appeared to be a {j-}. His opponent patted and Deeb learned that he made a good decision as he'd otherwise be out.

Deeb: {10-}{5-}{4-}{3-}
Opponent: {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}

"Alright. Good break," Deeb observed.

He needed to peel any deuce, six, seven or eight to secure a double up and he received a {2-} to finish with a smooth ten.
