Jerry Wong made it 17,000 on the button and Ajay Chabra fired 72,000 from the big blind. Wong matched the price and Chabra needed to change one. Wong signalled that he was pat and the betting round was quickly checked.
"I have a king," Chabra said, knowing he wasn't going to take it down.
Wong turned up 
to make his win official and then raked in the pot.

Craig Chait raised to 20,000 on the button and Frank Kassela three-bet shoved for 111,000. Ajay Chabra, sitting in the big blind, asked for a count and then re-raised all in. Chait got out of the way.

A hand described by Craig Chait as "brutal" has put a sudden halt to Jameson Painter's bracelet hopes in this event. Painter raised to 18,000, called by Ajay Chabra. Painter drew two cards, Ajay one. Painter, with the shortest stack of the final nine, was all in and quickly called.

Jameson Painter acted first and he opened to 24,000 and small blind Steven Tabb countered with an 84,000-raise. Painter called, leaving himself with around 100,000. They drew one apiece and Tabb jammed on Painter who couldn't peel a card worth calling.

Steven Tabb raised to 24,000 in the small blind and Craig Chait defended his big with a call. Tabb peeled one, Chait two, and Tabb bet out 45,000.
"I call," Chait said and Tabb showed him for a busted hand. Chait rolled over and moved ahead of Tabb in the provisional standings.

Ajay Chabra made it 12,000 in the cutoff, Steven Tabb pumped it to 55,000 in position, but the action got even spicier when Jameson Painter jammed for 149,000 from the big blind. Chabra quickly escaped but Tabb needed a moment to figure out what to do. The eventual verdict was a fold and Painter increased his stack without drawing.
