Andrejevic Gets Short

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Over on table 403 the chips are somewhat being passed around with Kyle Montgomery and Daniel Alaei on the rise. Dash Dudley lost some chips and then got a fraction back when he took on Andjelko Andrejevic.

Montgomery check-called a bet by Alaei on the {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} turn for 250,000 and check-folded the {5-Clubs} river when Alaei made it 525,000.

Dudley check-raised a {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts} turn as Andrejevic bet 175,000, and it instantly won the pot.

Razov Calls With Aces; Doubles

Niveau 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Andrey Razov
Andrey Razov

Picking up the action on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} turn, Daniel Alaei bet 350,000 and Andrey Razov was the only caller, as Kyle Montgomery sent his cards into the muck.

The {k-Hearts} fell on the river and Alaei asked for the size of the pot, then bet 1,100,000. Razov was covered by that as he only had 610,000 behind and went deep into the think tank. After more than two minutes the Russian called and Alaei rolled over {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for just a pair of jacks.

Razov triumphantly turned over his {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of aces and more than doubled.

"Guess I should have jammed pre and sucked out again," Montgomery joked in table chat as he mentioned he would have rivered a set.

The board was down {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}, and Kyle Montgomery manages to get his 990,000 chip stack into the middle against two opponents. Dash Dudley makes the call before Andrey Razov folds and the two players reveal their hands.

Montgomery: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Dudley: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Dudley has the lead with top set, but Montgomery has outs to survive, and when the river card falls the {9-Spades}, Montgomery completes his flush to survive.

Cong Pham

Down to the last 245,000, Cong Pham three-bet all in out of the big blind when facing a button raise by Kyle Montgomery and the latter made the call to create the following showdown.

Cong Pham: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Kyle Montgomery: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Pham flopped a flush draw and open ender on {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts}, turned a second flush draw and a pair with the {6-Hearts}. With a ton of outs at his disposal, Pham was looking for another comeback story but the blank {2-Diamonds} followed on the river to send him to the rail in 15th place.

Small Pots Only

Niveau 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Adam Hendrix continued to lose small pots and then defended against a raise by Dash Dudley for 125,000. They headed to a {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop and Hendrix check-folded to a continuation bet of 140,000.

One hand later, James Park opened to 125,000 and Hendrix folded out of the small blind. Park was about to muck his cards when he noticed Joel Feldman in the big blind, who made the call and initially put in 175,000. The dealer corrected the raise amount of Park and Feldman called for 125,000.

"I thought the hand was over," Park said with his hand still live. They checked the {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and Feldman check-folded the {a-Spades} turn to a bet of 225,000.
