Cosmich Makes the Right Call

Four-way action picked up on the flop reading and a sizable pot already in the middle.

After the big blind and middle-position players both checked, the player in the hijack bet 4,000 and was called by John Cosmich on the button and check-called by the big blind player.

On the turn the player in the big blind moved all in, which got a fold from the hijack-player. With action on Cosmich, he made the call and the players tabled their hands.

Both players had the same gutshot straight draw, but Cosmich was ahead with the overpair and had to fade an ace. He did just that on the river, which sent the big-blind player to the rail and the large pot to Cosmich.

Charania Going Down

Mohsin Charania sat in late position when it folded to him. He bet 4,500 with a little over 1,000 behind. Everyone behind him folded and he took the pot down. He has a little over fifteen big blinds now but the level will go up in less than half an hour.

Quads Send Miles to the Rail

Tony Miles was eliminated in brutal fashion. Hand replayed by his former tablemates.

After preflop action folded around to Tony Miles on the button he raised it to 1,000. The small-blind player folded, but Jason Pritchard three-bet to 3,000 from his big blind. With action back on Miles he four-bet shoved his last 17,800 and Pritchard made the call.

Miles was well ahead preflop, but Pritchard took the lead on the flop. Miles moved ahead again on the turn and left Pritchard with only one out, which he hit when the dealer fanned the on the river.

Nasreddine Bluffs Big Before Break

Niveau 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Raina Nasreddine raised it to 900 from middle position, called the three-bet to 3,300 from the player on the button and they went headsup to the flop.

After the dealer spread , Nasreddine checked. The button-player then continued for 2,800 and was met with a check-raise to 5,900 from Nasreddine. The button-player made the call.

Nasreddine then led out for 7,000 on the turn and was again called. After Nasreddine shoved all in on the river the button-player asked for a count. The dealer confirmed 25,000 total, which sent the button-player deep into the tank.

In fact, he tanked for 7 1/2 minutes into the second break before he finally released his hand and asked Nasreddine to show the bluff. After she obliged and tabled , he said "Nice hand," and told her he folded ace-king.
