Le Goff Le Gone

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Damien Le Goff opened with a raise under the gun before the player on his immediate left three-bet to 3,000. The button called, and when the action was back on Le Goff, he moved all in for 21,400.

The three-better iso-shoved for 45,000 total, and the button folded.

Le Goff: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Unfortunately for the Frenchman, the board ran out {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts} and with his opponent striking his two outer, Le Goff was eliminated.

Stout Rivers a Winner

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Matt Stout
Matt Stout

A player raised to 1,100 under the gun, and Matt Stout three-bet to 3,400 next to act. The hijack called, as did the under-the-gun player.

Action checked to Stout on a {3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop, and he bet 4,500. Only the hijack called.

Both players checked the {7-Spades} turn, and Stout checked the {a-Hearts} river. The hijack bet 12,000, and Stout, who only had 21,500 behind, called.

The hijack tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, then sighed after Stout showed his {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} and said, "River..." before Stout raked in the pot.

Opponent Looks Up Vogelsang, Mucks

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

"Wow, that's the first time you didn't raise me all day!" a player said from the small blind to Christoph Vogelsang after he checked his option in the big blind.

The dealer turned over a flop of {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and the small blind checked. Vogelsang bet 600 and was called. The turn then came {j-Spades} and both players checked.

The river was {4-Hearts} and Vogelsang was checked to for the third time. He bet 1,100 and his opponent grabbed calling chips and held them in his hand. With a determined look on his face, he dropped them into the pot to make the call.

"Jack," Vogelsang said as he tabled {j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. His opponent mucked and Vogelsang took down the small pot, adding to his stack.

Dyer Shoved On; Finds Fold

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Following two limps, Michael Dyer raised the cutoff to 2,500. The small blind called, as did both limpers, and the flop landed {8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}.

The small blind and first limper checked, but the player in the hijack led out for 2,300.

Dyer raised to 8,000, and after being greeted by two folds, the hijack then announced he was all in for 75,300 and Dyer folded.

Friedman Holds With Kings

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a heads-up flop of {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Ira Friedman had a shorter stack all in and at risk with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} versus {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Much to the disgust of Friedman, the {5-Clubs} fell on the turn to give his opponent the flush. The {k-Clubs} river improved him to a full house and reversed his mood.

Patouilliart Flops a Flush

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

With roughly 4,000 in the middle, the flop was {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The player first to act checked, Maria Ho checked and Paul Patouilliart on the button bet out 1,100. The player first to act check-raised to 4,000, Ho instantly folded and Patouilliart made the call.

The turn got checked through by both players on the {4-Spades} and when the {5-Hearts} hit the river, Patouilliart's opponent check-called a bet of 15,000 from him. Patouilliart tabled {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped flush and his opponent mucked his hand.

Nicolaou Eliminates Acosta

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Melvin Acosta was first to act and opened to 1,600 from under the gun. On his direct left was sat Nick Nicolaou who upped it to 4,000. Everyone else stepped aside and when it came back to Acosta, he called.

The flop was the {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Acosta moved all in for 24,100, which was two and a half times the size of the pot. Nicolaou asked for a count and threw in a chip to signify a call.

Nick Nicolaou: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Melvin Acosta: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board was completed with an {8-Clubs} and {6-Diamonds}, which was safe for the pocket kings and Nicolau is up, whilst Acosta headed towards the door.

Kessler's Quads Cooler Hwang

Niveau 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

Allen Kessler, Fredric Hwang and another opponent went three ways to a {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop in a single-raised pot. The action checked through all three players, bringing the {3-Diamonds} on the turn.

The out-of-position third player bet 6,000, Hwang raised to 12,000, Kessler called, and the original bettor folded. The river brought a {3-Spades}, Hwang led for 15,000, and Kessler raised to 35,000. Hwang then shoved all in over the top for the last of his stack, and Kessler snap called.

It was the sickest of coolers for Hwang, who flopped top boat with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} but saw the bad news when Kessler instantly tabled his {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} after calling. The hand sent Hwang to the rail, and made Kessler one of the top stacks in the field as Level 4 continues.
