Drinan Rivers a Straight

Niveau 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Connor Drinan
Connor Drinan

The flop read {10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} with almost 6,000 in the middle already.

Connor Drinan checked his big blind and Michael Tureniec led out for 2,500 from the hijack which Drinan called.

The turn brought them the {2-Spades}, Drinan now check-called the 5,300 bet of Tureniec.

The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs} and Drinan took over the initiative by betting 12,500. Tureniev took some time to contemplate his options and then decided to make the call but mucked when he saw Drinan tabled {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for the straight.

Johnson Holds for a Huge Double Up

Niveau 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Johnson
Chris Johnson

Aditya Systla raised it up from middle position and was called by Clayton Kalisek in the hijack and Chris Johnson in the big blind. The dealer spread the flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} which started a flurry of action.

Johnson checked to Systla who continued for 4,500. Kalisek called and Johnson check-raised to 20,000. Systla thought for a minute before sticking in a re-raise to 50,000. Kalisek frustratingly folded {x-Hearts}{9-Hearts} which he showed to half of the table before Johnson moved all in for 83,100. Systla quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Chris Johnson: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Aditya Systla: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Systla was unaware that two of his outs were already mucked. The {q-Spades} landed on the turn and the {k-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. Johnson improved to a full house to score a big double up through Systla.

Yuri Dzivielevski has been spotted with a big stack in the Orange section and Scott Baumstein also boosted his stack as of lately. Baumstein just three-bet a raise by Matt Waxman from 3,000 to 10,000 and Waxman reluctantly folded.

"Nothin'," Schein said with a sigh.

Serda opened {a-}{j-} and took the pot, increasing his stack to around 500,000. Schein said he had a pair in the hole and got counterfeited.

With 7,500 in the middle the player in the big blind checked to Alan Brodsky on a flop of {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and he fired out 7,000 which the big blind called.

The {5-Hearts} fell on the turn and Brodsky's opponent check-called once again, this time for 10,000. The dealer put out the {2-Hearts} on the river and both players checked. The big blind tabled {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} eights and fives while Brodsky tabled the winning {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for tens and fives and the pot was shipped to him.
