With around 30,000 already in the pot and board showing {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} Yohwan Lim was faced with an all in bet from his opponent David Len Ashby who was seated from the small blind. After a minute or so of contemplation Lim called and the players tabled their hands.

Lim rivered top two-pair but that was second best to Ashby's flopped set and Lim exited the playing field.

Berstein's Aggression Earns a Pot

A player raised to 2,500 from under the gun, and was called by Samuel Bernstein in middle position, as well as Adam Murphy in the small blind.

Murphy checked the {3-Hearts}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop to the under-the-gun player, who bet 2,500. Bernstein raised to 6,500, and after Murphy folded, the under-the-gun player called.

The {5-Clubs} turn was checked to Bernstein, who bet 11,000. His remaining opponent quickly folded.

Larabi Hooked by Almannai

Bernard Larabi shoved all in for his last 19,300 from middle position and received a call from Hamad Almannai, who was on the button. The blinds folded and it was time for the players to turn up their hands and run the cards.

A flop reading {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs} was dealt and Ephremsen bet 3,100. Pitcher called. The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and was checked through to the {6-Hearts} river. Both players checked again. Ephremsen showed {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Pitcher revealed {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for two pair to win the pot.

Truesdell Shows Top Pair

Picking up the action on the turn with three players still in the hand, the board read {10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The action was checked to Mike McDonald in the hijack who bet 8,000 into a pot of around 13,000. William Harrell called from the big blind as did Justin Truesdell from under the gun.

The river brought the {q-Spades} and Harrell checked. Truesdell threw in a bet of 21,000 and McDonald stared him down from the other side of the table. McDonald eventually decided to fold and Harrell did the same. Truesdell showed the {q-Diamonds} as the players were handed bags to move to the Amazon Room.

Vieira Involved in Early Action

A few days ago, the French and Portuguese rail was celebrating the victory of Joao Vieira in the corner feature table as he earned his first career bracelet. Vieira is also playing Day 2c of the Main Event and took on Marius Johansen, who check-called a bet of 1,300 on the {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop. On the {4-Spades} turn, Johansen checked and folded to another bet.

Vieira opened to 1,800 the next hand and was called by Sean Dwyer. Joshua Tieman three-bet to 7,700 and that forced folds from Vieira and Dwyer.
