Contentious Pot After McCullough Shove

Niveau 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Glenn Hughes opened to 2,400 from the hijack and Philip Schumacher three-bet to 7,100 from the cutoff. Michael McCullough started the day with 80,000 but was sitting with just under half that and shoved for 44,000 on the button.

The blinds folded and action was on Hughes who sat there muttering to himself.

"I've got a big hand," he said to the table repeatedly.

The dealer warned him not to go any further.

"I asked the dealer yesterday and I'm allowed to say that," said Hughes. Another player disagreed.

"Just give me a second, I've got a big hand," said Hughes. Eventually, the clock was called by Schumacher.

Hughes eventually folded as did Schumacher and McCullough took down the pot.
