WSOP.com bracelet
WSOP.com bracelet

This summer, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will hold 85 gold bracelet events online between WSOP.com and GG Poker.

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.

WSOP.com will hold 31 events – one each day for the month of July – while the other 54 will take place on GG Poker.

For players either in Nevada or New Jersey (remember, you must be 21+ to participate), or those planning to travel in, PokerNews put together all the information you need to know and also answered some lingering questions, which you can read here.

Download WSOP.com

The first step in getting set up to play on WSOP.com is to download the client. You can do so for both mobile (Android and iOS) and desktop (Windows 7 or higher and Mac OS X 10.6.8).

To get the correct version of the client, use the links below:

Also, the WSOP.com client can only support playing one table at a time on mobile.

Finally, pot-limit Omaha (PLO) games and tournaments are not compatible on mobile and must be played via a computer.

"pdx2nyc": {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Daniel "DNegs" Negreanu: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

It was a classic race and Negreanu stayed ahead as the board ran out {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} securing him the massive pot.

WSOP History: Looking Back at the November (and October) Nines

2014 WSOP November Nine
2014 WSOP November Nine

No stage in poker stood as a bigger goal for a tournament player than the final table of the WSOP Main Event. For years, that meant going to sleep knowing you had the chance of a lifetime, to go down in poker history in the next few days as the cameras captured your every bet, raise and fold.

All of that changed in 2008.

The year after Jerry Yang's Main Event victory was broadcast to all on ESPN's standard tape delay, organizers made a decision to try to increase the excitement and anticipation around the final table: after the final nine was reached, play would be paused. At that point, everyone left would go home with 9th-place money and the players would reconvene a few months later to play out the final table on a short tape delay.

That lasted until 2016, and this is the history of the November (and October) Nines.

Rota Bubbles the Bubble; Pantaleo Bubbles

Robert Kuhn
Robert Kuhn

With blinds at 12,000/24,000/3,000, Robert "bustinballs" Kuhn open-jammed for 597,673 from middle position and action folded to Giuseppe "Pantalette" Pantaleo who called off his 12,204 stack as did Marc "Feature" Rota from the big blind for 88, 459.

Marc "Feature" Rota: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Robert "bustinballs" Kuhn: {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Giuseppe "Pantalette" Pantaleo: {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Rota held the best hand and connected with the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} flop but it also gave both of his opponent's gutshot's.

The {q-Hearts} turn didn't change a thing but the {k-Spades} river completed the straight for Kuhn as he scored a double knockout to burst the bubble.
