Event #13: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em
Jour 1 a débuté
There won't be any second chances when Day 1 of the $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em event begins at 11 a.m. PT today. Players will begin the tournament with a starting stack 40,000 and only get one shot at winning a World Series of Poker bracelet.
This is a brand-new event on the 2021 World Series of Poker schedule and the second of 12 No-Limit Hold'em freezeout tournaments.
There was a $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em event held in 2019, which was won by France's Ivan Deyra for $380,090. That tournament attracted 671 entrants which created a prize pool of $1,811,700 and featured final table appearances from both Patrick Leonard and Andras Nemeth.
The plan for today is to play 17 40-minute levels, with a 20-minute break taking place after every three levels. There will be a 75-minute dinner break at the conclusion of Level 9 and late registration closes once players return, which should be around 6:55 p.m. tonight.
As always, the PokerNews team will be on hand to provide live updates and chip counts throughout the tournament.
PokerNews has activated the MyStack App for this event, allowing you to directly adjust your chip counts in our live reporting blog using your iPhone or Android phone. But it's more than just chip counts! You can include notes about big hands, your photo, and even your Table and Seat assignments so your friends can find you.
