Wasserson Avoids Getting Scooped

Niveau 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Eric Wasserson: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} / {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Erik Seidel: {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Erik Seidel bet all the way as of fourth street and Eric Wasserson came along. Once the cards were revealed, Seidel taböed an ace-high flush with a six low and there was very brief confusion. However, Wasserson had the slightly superior flush and secured the high portion.

"Do I look as if I get scooped by an ace-high flush and six-low?" he joked in table chat. Despite earning half the pot, Wasserson remains below half the starting stack.

During the deal, the {q-Spades} was exposed. "Something bad usually happens when that happens," said Yuval Bronshtein.

Lyle Berman raised and Albert Daher defended his big blind. Daher drew three and Berman drew two. Daher then check-called a bet.

Daher drew three again and Berman drew one. Again Daher check-called a bet. Daher drew one and Berman stood pat. Daher bet and Berman called.

Deeb Leads the Pack for Now; Benyamine Takes From Fraser

Niveau 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between David Benyamine and Chris Fraser, the {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} river slowed down any potential action as both players checked once the potential straight and flush draw got there.

Fraser tabled the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for flopped two pair, aces and eights. However, Benyamine had the best of it with the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for aces and nines to drag in the pot.

The same table also features the current chip leader Shaun Deeb, who has nearly three times the starting stack at his disposal.
