Bittar Takes Down Three-Bet Pot

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Asher Conniff opened to 300,000 from middle position and faced a three-bet to 975,000 by Kamal Bittar out of the small blind. The big blind got out of the way to send the action back to Conniff who decided to flat.

Bittar continued for 1,200,000 on the {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop and Conniff did not pause for long before releasing his hand to take a small hit to his stack and keep Bittar chipping up.

Michael Lavenburg
Michael Lavenburg

Michael Lavenburg had gotten his stack of 1,050,000 in from the small blind and was at risk against James Hobbs in middle position.

Michael Lavenburg: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
James Hobbs: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Lavenburg was looking for an ace, and found that help right away on the {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. The {4-Spades} turn brought more of a sweat, but the {9-Hearts} completed the board to confirm Lavenburg's double.

Watson Eliminated by Rosa

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Andrew Watson
Andrew Watson

Down to the last 2,175,000, Andrew Watson from Tulsa, Oklahoma, moved all in and he was looked up by Jonathan Rosa with the far covering stack.

Andrew Watson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Jonathan Rosa: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop kept Watson's hopes alive but the {q-Clubs} turn left him drawing dead. He vaulted out of the seat with a "Good luck guys" even before the {5-Hearts} river completed the board.

Setna Finds a Double

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Frank Funaro raised to 300,000 from middle position before Karim Rebei three-bet to 800,000. In the small blind, Jimmy Setna shoved all in for 2,075,000.

Funaro gave it some thought before folding, but Rebei instantly flicked in a chip to call.

Jimmy Setna: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Karim Rebei: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

"Give me four clubs," Rebei pleaded as the dealer turned over the {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, giving Setna top set and Rebei a straight draw. The turn came the {7-Spades}.

"I picked the wrong color," Rebei said as the {4-Hearts} on the river missed his hand and secured a double up for Setna.

Gisler Wins a Flip to Double Up

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Jon Gisler and Cedrric Trevino got all of their chips in the middle. It was Gisler who was at risk for 3,250,000 but the rail was certainly on Trevino's side.

Jon Gisler: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Cedrric Trevino: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

"Queen-nine-four flop!" They shouted. They got one card right as the flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} but Gisler took the lead with a pair of kings. The {9-Hearts} on the turn and the {5-Spades} on the river was not enough to help Trevino who sent over a double up.

Morrell Takes Showdown Pot From Lococo

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Alejandro Lococo raised to 350,000 from the button and Aaron Mermelstein called from the small blind before Gerald Morrell came along from the big blind.

The flop was {j-Spades}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs} and action checked to Lococo on the button. He bet 425,000 and Mermelstein folded while Morrell tossed in the chips to call.

Both players checked through the {7-Spades} turn and {j-Diamonds} river before Morrell turned over {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of aces. Lococo mucked the losing hand and Morrell dragged the pot.

Niveau 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Espen Jorstad raised to 300,000 and was called by Karim Rebei on the button, Jimmy Setna also called in the big blind. "I am not going for the suckout this time," Rebei announced and Jorstad replied "so you have a decent hand?" but received no answer to that.

They checked the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop and Jorstad bet the {a-Spades} turn for 300,000 to win the pot uncontested.
