Wilkinson Pressures Wang, Schulman Beats Volpe

Niveau 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Yong Wang raised from middle position and Alex Wilkinson was the lone caller from the small blind. The flop was 737 and Wilkinson checked. Wang tossed out a bet and then called when Wilkinson raised. The turn was A and Wilkinson checked. Wang bet again and Wilkinson raised, but this time it was too much and Wang tossed his hand in the muck.

Nearby, Paul Volpe raised from the cutoff and Nick Schulman called from the small blind. The flop was 69A and Schulman check-called a bet from Volpe. Both players checked the 10 turn and the 4 river before Schulman turned over Q9 to take the pot with a pair of nines. Volpe flashed the losing hand and tossed it in the muck.

Elsewhere, Brian Lieberman hit the rail shortly after he returned from dinner.

A Look Inside Phil Hellmuth's WSOP Break Room: How Does He Fit on that Couch?

Niveau 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

When you hold the record for the most World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, there are perks.

For Phil Hellmuth, whose 16 bracelets (and counting) may never be touched, one of those perks is his own personal break room at Horseshoe Las Vegas. That's a nice benefit especially on 90-minute dinner breaks.

Hellmuth granted PokerNews access to his small but intimate break room, which is in an undisclosed location. "Don't disclose the location. I don't need fans knocking on the door seeking autographs while I'm trying to rest," the Poker Hall of Famer joked.

Play will resume at approximately 8:45 p.m. local time.
