Funkhouser Eliminates Gafford in a Big Clash of the Blinds

Niveau 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Action folded to David Funkhouser in the small blind and he raised to 90,000. Bradley Gafford in the big blind three-bet pot to 270,000. Funkhouser called.

The flop came AQQ. Funkhouser checked and Gafford declared pot, but he had less than that behind so he was all-in. Funkhouser immediately put in his chips and Gafford was at risk.

Luo Bluffs Prociak to Take Down a Big Pot and the Chip Lead

Niveau 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was caught on the river with the board KQ536. David Prociak was first to act and bet out for 585,000. There was already over a million chips in the pot before the river and Prociak’s bet.

His opponent was Xixiang Luo, who was sitting in late position. After some thinking, Luo decided to go all in, which was for Prociak’s remaining 900,000 chips. After hearing the all-in, Prociak snap-folded.

Luo jumped out of his seat with excitement and quickly tabled AK22 to show his bluff with the blocker to the nut flush. He took down a massive pot and became the current tournament chip leader.
