Welcome to Day 2 of Event #19: THE GIANT - $365 No-Limit Hold'em

Valentin Vornicu
Valentin Vornicu

After five days of flights and 10,015 entries, 882 remain. Valentin Vornicu leads the way with 869,000. Vornicu has 70 WSOP cashes and nine WSOP Circuit rings, just about $850,000 in career WSOP earnings, and is hungry for his first bracelet.

He is followed closely by Ben Volpe with 794,000. Volpe has won a WSOP gold bracelet and has 21 career WSOP cashes. He has almost $500,000 in career WSOP earnings and looks to nab his second career win at the WSOP.

Many other notables still remain and have big stacks in the field, like Niall Farrel with 559,000, Eric Baldwin with 547,500, Roland Israelashvili with 496,500, Scott Montgomery with 452,000, and Ravi Raghavan with 432,000. Countless other big names remain in the field and look to make runs up the leaderboard.

Play begins at 2 p.m. local time on Level 19 and players will battle it out for 15 40-minute blind levels or until the final table has been reached. There will be 15-minute breaks every three levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 27 (8:30 p.m.).
