Après la sortie d'Estelle Denis en fin de Jour 1 (98e - 1545$), trois Françaises se présentaient au Jour 2 du Ladies Championship à 1.000$ l'entrée. Aucune d'elles n'est au Jour 3 qui ne concernera que les 5 finalistes.

Les trois bleues n'avaient pas plus de 15 blindes au début d'un Jour 2 qui rassemblait 85 des 718 participants de ce tournoi réservé aux femmes (les hommes doivent payer 10 000$, ndlr). La joueuse Florida Poker Tour Judith Ezagouri a rapidement rendu les armes pour 1,703$ (78e). Nathalie Odet Schaeffer encaisse elle 2043$ (62e) alors que Thi Xoa Nguyen a rêvé un peu plus longtemps. L'ancienne régulière du CCM s'incline finalement en 38e position pour 2,647$.

Cela ne la consolera pas mais elle a tenu plus longtemps que Lauren Kling (83e - 1,605$), Vanessa Selbst (56e - 2,040$), Lynn Gilmartin (En photo - 49e - 2,301$), Amanda Baker (43e - 2,647) ou encore Oanh Bui (40e - 2,647$).

Chipleader à l'entame de la journée, Parm Mehmi termine 31e pour 3,104$ après un 4-bet shove {a-}{7-} un peu ambitieux. Son bourreau, qui détenait {a-}{a-}, Katie Ansorge est elle en finale.

Quatre autres joueuses ont encore en tête le premier prix de 135,098$ et c'est l'Australienne Heidi May (en photo de Une) qui a emballé le plus gros tapis pour le Jour 3. Les 5 dernières survivantes encaisseront un minimum de 29 256$.
