Frankenberger Can't Hold the Lead

Niveau 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

There was a raise to 18,000 by Vuong Do from early position and Andy Frankenberger moved all in from late position for 124,000. Do thought for over two minutes and counted out the chips to call. He finally slid them forward and the hands were turned over.

Do: {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Frankenberger: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Frankenberger had Do in a dominating position and just needed to hold in order to double up. The board ran out {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and Do managed to spike his nine on the flop, thus eliminating Frankenberger.

He opened from middle position and an opponent moved all in with {a-}{q-}. Unfortunately, Kotlyarevskiy held {a-}{a-} and they held to eliminate his opponent and boost him a bit nearer to Mickey Craft at the summit of the chip counts.
