Four More Hands Tonight

Niveau 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We have hit ten minutes on the clock, and that means the floor staff has drawn for a number of hands. Tonight that is four. Once every table has played four hands, we will be done for the night.

Owen Holds to Double Up

Niveau 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Adam Owen went heads up to a flop of {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and the big blind checked to Owen, who fired out 2,100. His opponent went for the check raise to 5,200, and Owen thought for about a minute before he moved all in.

His opponent went into the tank for a while, never looking too comfortable about the decision. He asked for a count, and it was 28,900 total. Eventually he called, and told Owen, "you're ahead," when he saw Owen's hand.

Owen: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The {5-Clubs} on the turn was great for Owen, as an eight was no longer good for his opponent. The river gave him a sweat, but it was the {9-Spades}, securing the double up for him to 65,000.

Hustad Knocks out Legrand in a Cooler

Niveau 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Osvaldo Legrand got it all in pre-flop for his remaining stack of roughly 32,000 against Greg Hustad who had him well covered.

Greg Hustad: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Osvaldo Legrand: {a-}{a-}

The flop was {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} looking good for Legrand who had just tripled up 20-minutes earlier. The turn was painful, however when the {k-Diamonds} hit the board. The river bricked off the {7-Spades} and unfortunately for Legrand, he wasn't able to hold when he needed to the most.
