Day 3 Ends With Matt Berkey Leading the Final 12

Niveau 30 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Matt Berkey

There will be an extra day of action in the final bracelet event of the summer, as 12 players are still alive looking to become the next Little One for One Drop champion. None other than Matt Berkey will be in the pole position on Sunday, bagging up a monster stack of exactly 12 million in chips. He surged to the top with some late knockouts, including the last of the night against Luigi Knoppers.

Berkey has double the second biggest stack, Giuseppe Pantaleo, who has 5,175,000. DeJuante Alexander is also still alive hoping to one-up his finish in the Millionaire Maker earlier this summer, where he finished runner-up to Pablo Mariz. Alexander was able to score a late night double up when he won a flip against Kyle Shappelle.

There were exactly 100 players that came back on Saturday. Some of those that were lost along the way were Chris Ferguson (96th), Phong "Turbo" Nguyen (72nd), Jean Gaspard (69th), James Calderaro (64th), Upeshka De Silva (58th), Kevin Eyster (55th), Dan Heimiller (48th), Matt Affleck (42nd), and Eugene Todd (23rd).

Below you will see how the remaining field stacks up, as well as where they will be seated on Sunday. The action will pick up again at 2 p.m., and they will play down to a winner. PokerNews will have all of your updates then, including hand-for-hand coverage of the final table, so be sure to come back and enjoy the action!
