Pantaleo Takes a Big Hit

Niveau 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Giuseppe Pantaleo and Cannon Lim had gotten to the river of a hefty pot with the board reading {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Lim was in the big blind, while Pantaleo was under the gun. Lim bet 450,000, a bet worth more than half of Pantaleo's stack, and the German thought for about a minute before calling.

Lim rolled over {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nut straight, and Pantaleo shook his head as he mucked his cards.

"I'm lucky that I didn't go broke there," Pantaleo said as he tossed his cards to the dealer.

Even though he didn't go broke, Pantaleo was knocked down to just 375,000, with the blinds coming through him next.

Linglin Zeng Eliminated in 26th Place ($17,674)

Niveau 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Linglin Zeng
Linglin Zeng

Linglin Zeng moved all in preflop for her final 350,000, and it folded all the way around to Ricardo Ramos in the big blind. He tanked for about 90 seconds before tossing in a chip for the call.

Zeng: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Ramos: {K-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop didn't bring much help for Zeng, but the {A-Diamonds} on the turn meant a king would work for her now, as well as a queen or a ten. However, the {9-Hearts} came on the river instead, sealing the win for Ramos, who bumped his stack up to 1.5 million.

Antonio Graham Eliminated in 27th Place ($17,674)

Antonio Graham
Antonio Graham

Richard Dixon raised to 110,000, and Antonio Graham moved all in for 125,000 total. [Removed:297] called, and Dixon tossed in the last 15,000.

The flop came down {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, and Dixon checked to Wenigwieser, who bet 125,000. Dixon folded, and the cards hit their backs.

Wenigwieser: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Graham: {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Graham needed a four on the turn or river or hit running pairs to survive. The {8-Clubs} on the turn meant a nine would chop the pot, but the {7-Clubs} came instead.
