Après être revenu en 11e position sur 17 à l'entame du Jour 3 du WSOP Championship 10,000$ Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Fabsoul encaisse 119,109$ face à des spécialistes.En se classant 4e, il a fait mieux que Ray Dehkharghani (6e), Mike Matusow (8e), John Monnette (9e) et Max Pescatori (15e)
Daniel Negreanu a volé les spotlights et confirme son appétit avec un gros début de festival. Le Canadien reviendra pour conquérir un 7e bracelet puisque les 10 niveaux d'une heure du Jour 3 n'ont pas suffit pour forcer la décision. Il jouera un head's up contre Abe Mosseri, lui aussi impérial toute la journée.
Bien moins connu, Mosseri maîtrise parfaitement la variant. En tête tout le Jour 3, il possède 5,1 millions de jetons contre 2,5 au Kid Poker. Avec 1,7 millions de dollars de gains en tournoi et déjà un bracelet WSOP, Mosseri ne fera aucun complexe.
