Today saw the biggest flight so far of the Event #15: €550 Colossus No-Limit Hold'em with 346 players coming together to form the Day 1g field, and from that 346 only 39 players will be advancing to Day 2.

They are lead by Agostino Pellegrini (587,000) who was the only player over the half-million mark. Pellegrini increased considerably his stack at the bubble, putting pressure against Gerrit Schwotzer who ended up folding pocket queens on an ace-high flop, and a few minutes later, by making the right call on the river with ace-king on David Debes on a jack-high board. However close behind him is Avraham Dayan (577,00) and Artan Dedusha closes the podium with 556,000.

The total number of entries catapulted to 1,374 today, thanks to the 341 entries earlier today of Day 1f, and the tournament now has 149 players already making it to Day 2 and more to be added from the next two busy flights to come as the weekend started.

The top 52 players of this flight were paid and the bubble burst in level 18, after 40 minutes of hand for hand play. It Koby Blaiman who felted at the unfortunate bubble place, when his pocket kings felted versus Christos Xanthopoulos who was holding ace-two and found a deuces full of nines on the board.

Other players who cashed tonight but failed to bag include Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, who late registered at the end of level 12 and managed to make it to the money, Britt Pettersen, Francesco Amatulli, Flavio Decataldo, Jakub Oliva and Catalin Diac.
