Welcome to Day 4 of the 2019 WSOPE €10,350 Main Event

Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Day 4 of the 2019 World Series of Poker Europe €10,350 Main Event No-Limit Hold'em is about to begin here at King's Resort in Rozvadov. The total field of 541 players has been whittled down to just 42 hopefuls who will return today at 12:00 p.m. to continue their run to one of poker's most prestigious titles.

The performance that stood out of the crowd was Julien Martini's, who managed to bag a huge lead after Day 3, closing the day with 5,959,000 chips. His closest competitor is non other than Italy's Dario Sammartino who is still in the hunt of an amazing achievement, to make two WSOP final tables in the same year. However, he has almost two average stacks less than Martini, having bagged 3,897,000. Felix Schulze rounds the top three stacks, who is coming hot after his third place finish in Event #13: €2,500 Short Deck No-Limit Hold'em.

Among other notables that are still in the field, Anthony Zinno (2,381,000), Jan-Peter Jachtmann (1,879,000), David "ODB" Baker (1,019,000), Alex Foxen (809,000), Maria Lampropulos (732,000), Roberto Romanello (600,000), and Martin Kabrhel (566,000) are still in the hunt of the WSOP gold bracelet.

The plan for Day 4 is to play six more 90-minute levels with a 15-minute break after each level, while a 60-minute dinner break is scheduled after the completion of the fourth level of play. The players will continue their efforts from Level 20 with a 12,000 small blind, a 24,000 big blind and a 24,000 big blind ante.

The PokerGO live stream will get underway on the fourth level of the day, while the PokerNews team will be on the floor to provide all the coverage of the Main Event.

Roberto Romanello

Michal Lubas opened to 55,000 in the cutoff and Roberto Romanello shipped all in for 562,000 in the big blind. Lubas asked for a count before making the call to put Romanello at risk.

Michal Lubas: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Roberto Romanello: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop of {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} gave Lubas a comfortable lead as the only player with a spade in their hand. The {6-Hearts} on the turn and the {8-Diamonds} changed nothing and Romanello was eliminated.

Kabrhel Eliminated by Ruiz

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel open-shoved for 422,000 and Sergio Ruiz reshoved to force out everyone else.

Martin Kabrhel: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Sergio Ruiz: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Ruiz had kings once again and Kabrhel started some table chat.

"I can't believe how you can call with kings again after the experience with the threes."

"I am masochist," the Spaniard replied and then added "this is King's Casino, Martin."

The {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop took away some outs from Kabrhel and he failed to hit a miracle on the {4-Clubs} turn and {8-Hearts} river run out.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Spades} and Sammartino took down the pot with kings and sevens and with an ace-kicker, ending Mueller's run in the tournament.

Cruel River Busts Lipauka; Zinno Up to Five Million

Niveau 21 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Vadzim Lipauka
Vadzim Lipauka

A massive pot unfolded between Anthony Zinno and Vadzim Lipauka, that ended with the elimination of Lipauka. Zinno opened the action with a raise to 65,000 first to act in and Lipauka made it 325,000 from the small blind.

Zinno called and the flop came {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, with Lipauka betting 450,000. Zinno tanked for a bit and announced all in with Lipauka calling quickly.

Anthony Zinno: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Vadzim Lipauka: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Lipauka was ahead with his overpair and he had to avoid one of the two remaining jacks in the deck, and runner-runner cards that would favor Zinno's hand.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} that didn't change anything but the {j-Hearts} on the river brought the elimination of Lipauka in a cruel way.

Gianluca Speranza: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Daniel Rezaei: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The board came {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Speranza was sent to the rail.

"I was not going to fold this time," Rezaei said to Palevic, referring to the previous hand in which Palevic jammed and got through with it.

Daan Mulders was left with 315,000 chips and he shoved them in the middle from the big blind, after Anh Do's open to 65,000 from the hijack. Alfred Kovezman had called from the button, as did Rifat Palevic but they folded after Do's overshove for nearly 1.8 million.

Daan Mulders: {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

Harry Ross: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Jakob Madsen: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Ross was ahead but Madsen hit a pretty favorable flop of {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. The {2-Diamonds} turn and {7-Diamonds} river filled up the board and Madsen raked in the pot with his pair of queens, sending Ross to the rail.

Deniz Dogan was in the big blind and Maria Lampropulos raised from under the gun to 60,000, Rifat Palevic called in the small blind and Dogan folded in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Palevic check-called a bet of 65,000 to see the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Palevic once again checked and Lampropulos bet 250,000 with 185,000 behind,

Palevic raised to more than 1.5 million and that sent Lampropulos deep in the think tank. She eventually made the call and the cards were turned over.

Maria Lampropulos: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Rifat Palevic: {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

Lampropulos needed a diamond to double but the river was the blank {9-Hearts} to end her run in 31st place.

Dario Sammartino: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

It was a flip for Biz to get back into business on Day 4 but the {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades} board gave Sammartino a jack-high straight and ended Biz's run in 29th place.
