Aucun des trois tricolores en lice au Jour 2 du High Roller Platinum à 25 000€ l'entrée des World Series of Poker Europe ne s'est qualifié pour la finale à 8, mardi à Rozvadov en République tchèque.

Dans le Top 3 à l'issue du Jour 1, le double vainqueur WSOP Julien Martini et Johan "YoH_Viral" Guilbert n'ont pas franchi l'obstacle, tout comme le double vainqueur WSOP Bertrand Grospellier.

Les 9 joueurs en lice ont assuré un gain de 57,095€ et malgré l'absence des Français, il reste du beau monde!

Avec deux bracelets WSOP, 5 bagues WSOPC et un caractère de cochon, Martin Kabrhel s'est de nouveau mis en évidence pour aborder la Jour 3 avec la toque du patron. Le Tchèque est à domicile et sera le chipleader à l'entame de la finale du tournoi le plus onéreux du festival.

L'Event #10: €25,000 Platinum High Roller est loin d'avoir livré sa vérité puisque si Kabrhel reviendra avec 92 blindes et une belle marge de manoeuvre, de nombreux requins sont encore en piste.

Tout juste sacré à Las Vegas, l'Allemand Ole Schemion a emballé 52 blindes pour l'ultime table... très actif durant les WSOP lui aussi, le Finlandais Joni Jouhkimainen reviendra lui avec 74 blindes pour enfin combler le trou à son palmarès.

Chipleader du tournoi à l'aube du Jour 2, Jordan Westmorland est toujours dans le coup lui aussi, tout comme le Suisse Didier Rabl, très en forme depuis le coup d'envoi du festival !

Les inscriptions tardives étaient ouvertes durant les deux premiers niveaux du Jour 2 et nombreux sont les joueurs à avoir profité de l'aubaine. Paul Phua, Anatoly Filatov ou Dzmitry Urbanovich ne sont pas parvenus à rentabiliser l'inscription alors que Didier Rabl peut encore rêver du bracelet

Avec une participation finale de 72 entrants, Jordan Westmorland n'a pas tardé à voir Jack Sinclair le rattraper au chipcount. L'Anglais a tenté de bluffer l'Américain une fois de trop et ce dernier en a profité pour reprendre les commandes du tournoi.

Westmorland avait toujours la tête du classement à la constitution des deux dernières tables, Sinclair, Julien Martini (sorti par Rabl, ndlr) et Phua (éliminé par Kabrhel) s'inclinant aux portes de la finale et de l'argent.

La bulle pour Matas Cimbolas

Après la sortie d'Abdel Zouffri, éliminé par Didier Rabl qui partait de derrière (comme lorsqu'il a sorti ElkY à 3 tables left, ndlr), le main par main pouvait débuter. Affaibli après s'être empalé sur un brelan de Martin Kabrhel, c'est finalement Matas Cimbolas qui va rendre les armes à la pire place.

De grosse blinde et à tapis, le Lituanien va voir Andrea Ricci faire tapis sous le canon... et Martin Kabrhel payer au bouton avec . L'Italien va retourner et Cimbolas ne va pas trouver de miracle avec son !

Deux joueurs qui sautent sur la même main à la même table, c'est donc le plus gros tapis de Ricci qui lui permet de sauter en 11e position pour 43 090€... alors que Cimbolas repart les mains vides!

Mustafov's ace-high held on the flop and the turn, but the river saw Rabl spike a pair and send Mustafov to the rail in ninth.

The remaining eight players are bagging up ahead of the final table tomorrow.

On a flop Tom Vogelsang check-called 150,000 from Martin Kabrhel.

The turn was the . Vogelsang checked.

"We check together [for clubs]?" asked Kabrhel, but Vogelsang didn't look back at his cards. "Oh you remember!" Kabrhel bet 375,000 and Vogelsang called.

The river was the . Vogelsang checked.

"I won't go all in," said Kabrhel. "Write it down PokerNews — two million."

"Two million?" said Vogelsang. "I call." Vogelsang was all in and Kabrhel tabled for a flush, beating the Vogelsang held for an inferior flush.

Vogelsang was eliminated in tenth place with the remaining nine players redrawing around a single table.

With Matas Cimbolas all-in for 190,000 from the big blind, Andrea Ricci shoved for 1,805,000 from under the gun. Martin Kabrhel called on the button and Joni Jouhkimainen folded his small blind.

"If there's no king, you're still in the money," Kabrhel told Ricci before the flop. The flop came giving Cimbolas bottom pair, with Kabrhel's jacks still in the lead.

The turn and river could save neither player and Kabrhel knocked both out, with Ricci finishing in the money courtesy of his bigger stack.
