Welcome back to King's Resort, Rozvadov where the 11th bracelet event of the 2021 World Series of Poker Europe gets underway at 10 a.m. local time. Today sees the start of Day 1 of the two-day tournament.

The event is a new entry to the WSOPE schedule and is expected to create a huge field, as it is the only 6-max NLH event of the series. The tournament is unlimited re-entry, with players receiving 40,000 starting chips. The plan for Day 1 is to play 16 levels of 40 minutes each. Late registration is open for 12 levels.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Maliqi check-raised to 6,000 the bet of 1,800 of Chen.

Chen raised enough to put Maliqi all-in who called relatively quickly.

In one of the hands he played, the action started with a limp from Mark Helou under the gun, Wilfried Haselmayer next to him followed as well and so did Iman Ghashayar from the small blind and Vojtech Ruzicka from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and all players checked.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Ghashayar led for 1,000 which Ruzicka raised to 4,500. Helou called and the other players folded.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Ruzicka bet 2,500. Helou raised to 7,000 and Ruzicka snap-called to split the pot as both players had the one card straight. Ruzicka with {4-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Helou with {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Day 1 of Event #11: €1,650 NLH 6-Max has come to an end. It was a long and gruelling day for the players who had to compete for fifteen 40-minute levels. Out of the 535 entries only 91 survived and bagged their chips for Day 2.

There were many big names who either started the tournament or late registered it. Among them Jack Sinclair, Tom Vogelsang, Laszlo Bujtas, Anton Morgerstern, Artur Martirosian, Julien Martini and Preben Stokkan who all failed to move on to Day 2.

However, there were a lot of notable players that made it to Day 2 such as Fahredin Mustafov, Bertrand ''ElkY'' Grospellier, Pete Chen but at the top of the chip count is an online-bracelet winner Kacper Pyzara, who is looking to match his success in the live felt as well.
