Klezys checked the 8 turn as Atac then fired out 50,000. Klezys called to the 2 river and checked again. Atac then checked back and Klezys showed 10755 for a flopped set that turned into a full house to win the pot.

Omar Eljach
Omar Eljach

Three-handed on a flop of K108, Matthias Wieser potted to 62,000 in middle position and Filip Lovric called on the button. Omar Eljach then moved all in for 115,000 in the big blind, Wieser tossed in his last 30,000, and Lovric called to put both players at risk.

Matthias Wieser: AAK5
Omar Eljach: K1097
Filip Lovric: AQJ5

Eljach had top two pair to take the lead against Wieser's pair of aces, while Lovric was on a straight draw. The 10 turn left Lovric drawing dead as Eljach improved to a full house, while the 4 river sent Wieser off to the rail.

Tsang Loses His Crown

Niveau 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Anson Tsang
Anson Tsang

Anson Tsang and Tobias Peters were heads-up on a board of 76J5 and around 30,000 in the pot as Tsang, in the small blind, tanked for a minute before betting 30,000.

Tsang left only one orange 1,000 chip behind and Peters instantly moved all in. Tsang tossed in his last chip and showed AQJ7 for two pair, but Peters had AK43 for a straight.

The river came the 8 and Tsang, the two-time and defending champion of this event, was sent to the rail short of the money as Peters raked in more chips to add to his stack, which he has painstakingly organized in a symmetrical pattern.

Klezys Drives Jaros Crazy; Alioto Gets Away With a Raise on Rolli

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Heads-up blind versus blind, Patrik Jaros bet 34,000 on a board of K655 and Kasparas Klezys called.

The river came the 7 and Jaros inquired about the size of the pot before leading out with just 31,000. Klezys then raised to 120,000.

Jaros sat back in his chair receiving a massage as the minutes ticked off the clock. He eventually peeked back at his cards and folded after more than five minutes.

At the same time at another table, Dario Alioto and Fabian Rolli were also in a blind versus blind battle as Rolli led out for 15,000 on QK7. Alioto then raised to 74,000.

Tournament officials announced that play was going hand-for-hand as Rolli continued to tank. "Even worse," he said.

"This wasn't a bubble play," Alioto said.

"I would never think of folding here if it wasn't the bubble," Rolli said, eventually mucking AKQJ. Alioto showed him KQ as he took the pot.

Double Knockout for Kim Triggers Bubble Period

Niveau 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Namhyung Kim
Namhyung Kim

Namhyung Kim had raised and Christopher Back called the 20,000. Van Marcus then pushed all-in with a shorter stack and the initial raiser reshoved with the far biggest stack. Back smiled and pushed forward his stack of more than 210,000 as well.

Van Marcus: AAQ9
Christopher Back: AKQJ
Namhyung Kim: 9654

"I like your hand but I gonna win this one with aces," Marcus joked towards Back, who then took the lead on the QJ5 flop.

However, it was Kim who hit the 5 turn to improve to trips fives. Nothing changed with the 2 river and Kim knocked out two opponents. The field plummeted to 32 contenders and the hand-for-hand process will commence when all tables have finished their current hand.
